Woah! This was such a fantastical visual novel. I love how the diaries were all written and drawn on because it really looks like a child used it. Not only that, but the story was heartbreaking even through the different endings that can be found. I feel awful for Selene, to be born for such matters... And not at all loved just because her "future" was laid out for her... Why couldn't they let her grow up and be a child? Nothing stated that she had to be treated like this, and even then she was still a child with no one to rely on but her parents, and still they were so neglectful and uncaring for the 12 years Selene was in their life. It might have been just 12 years to the parents, but that was Selene's entire life! No school! No friends! No love! Or any sort of entertainment-- She was raised like cattle and it honestly felt so depressing just reading it. The neglect was so palpable that even I was worried for Selene even when I knew what the ending would be, but I still clung to the hope that Selene would be safe... And in some ways, she is.

Below I will be talking about the endings so beware of spoilers~!!

I have to say, as a normal person I would instantly go for the Ending 1 or 2 because surely, I'd be worried over the mental state of Selene. I was leaning towards Ending 1 because of how real and specific many of the descriptions Selene wrote were, and not only that but there was some sort of proof being shown. I also have to say, how was MC so deranged at Ending 3? Was it the beauty and fantastical nature that caused MC to lose his mind and long for the comfort of the Lady of the Moon?

Yet, regardless to the state, in all endings you can tell MC genuinely cared for Selene so much. Even if in Ending 1 and 3 they were twisted (such as Ending 1 where I believe MC was consumed with guilt over his complacency in Selene's abuse, i.e. neglect, and poured everything in the chance to possibly redeem or save Selene, and in Ending 3 where MC did feel remorse and pity for Selene but it was twisted as though she was an idol or something like a guiding symbol for MC to start his cult in finding a way to get to the Moon), at their bare bones, it shows how MC cared for children and despised how hypocritical and awful his sister and her husband was.

Amazing work, I enjoyed reading through Selene's diary and I hope the best happened to Selene no matter how odd and mystical the story is~!

This is a lovely visual novel! I love the art, especially the varying emotions the artist put into the diary entries. I'm still curious about what happened to Selene though! Keep up the great work!

This was such a fascinating game to play through. The atmosphere the art work in the diary's created is honestly phenomenal. Very short game, getting the three different endings is very easy also, however i enjoyed every minute of it thank you! <3

This is a story about neglect and reclamation, told through the diaries of a young girl as she grows up into something beautiful, perhaps in a pitiable way. Beyond the story itself, I can and will gush about just how heavily the art weighed on me. It's the thought put behind the handwriting. I saw this child grow up through the style of it, from the waxy, blocky crayon scrawl, to the clunky gradeschool cursive, to the tamer graphite script. I look at that and I can see my youngest niece and nephew in it all, growing up from preschool and fast approaching middle. I remember when they wrote letters backwards. I remember when the schools mandated cursive lessons for a year. I remember myself in middle school having so much to say with a bigger vocab to say it and never enough room on the page. This and other small gems like the exploration of media and the refinement of her art is so damn touching.

I see myself revisiting this one for the journey.

Thank you so much, Coda. We're so glad to hear you could relate to the diary progression. It's something we wanted to highlight to show Selene's growth, how she changes throughout the years. Glad to know we're doing it right!

Thank you for playing and for hosting this wonderful Space Jam!

This was a beautiful journey. I love how the artwork evolves and changes as it continues. The writing also pulled me into the story and its mysteries. I love the textbox design, and the colours are so soft and pretty. What a lovely epistolary visual novel.

It's such a beautiful, mysterious story told through diary entries. The artwork is gorgeous, and the diary reads like it was actually written by a real child - so cute, and so heartbreaking! Even with multiple endings, I still choose to believe in the One True Ending in which Selene is happy.
